เรื่องย่อ
…ยูซึเกะ… เด็กหนุ่มที่ฟื้นจากความตาย เพราะมีข้อตกลงกับยมบาลแลกกับการที่ต้องเป็นนักสืบโลกวิญญาณ นั่นเป็นจุดพลิกผันชีวิตให้เขาต้องเข้าสู่โลกแห่งการต่อสู้ เพื่อปกป้องมนุษย์จากเหล่าปิศาจ โดยมี…โบตั๋น…ยมทูตจากนรกคอยช่วยเหลือ และได้ฝึกวิชากับ…ปรมาจารย์เก็นไค… มีไม้ตายคือพลังกระสุนวิญญาณ และมีคู่หูอีกสามคนคือ คุวาบาร่า คุราม่า และฮิเอ เป็นผู้ช่วย โดยทั้งสามคนก็มีที่มาและจุดมุ่งหมายที่แตกต่างกัน เรื่องราวเต็มไปความสนุก สุข เศร้า เหงา เคร้าน้ำตา หรือฮาจนท้องแข็ง มีให้คุณได้ชม แล้วคุณจะรู้จักมิตรภาพของคำว่าเพื่อนได้ดียิ่งขึ้น
